Burger 21 Coming to Downtown Disney?

If there's one thing Disney doesn't do well, it's hamburgers. Sure, there are a few highlights, like Rosie's in Hollywood Studios and the Grand Floridian Cafe, but overall, Disney burgers leave a lot to be desired.  I've often wished that Disney would add a Five Guys or an In-and-Out Burger (be still my heart) to Downtown Disney, but now we may be getting the next best thing: Burger 21, a gourmet burger bar.

Burger 21 is a small chain from Tampa.  I had the opportunity to try Burger 21 last fall and it definitely lived up to the local buzz. I loved the sweet potato fries and the burgers were good--maybe not as good as Five Guys, but really good.  If I have one complaint, it's the cost:  A  meal for two could easily set you back $40.  No one goes to Downtown Disney expecting to find food bargains, so I'm guessing Burger 21 will do just fine if the rumors are true. And for anyone who's craved a good burger on Disney property, this will be a welcome addition.
