What's Going on with Fall Free Dining?

Cheer up, Eeyore. They'll announce free dining soon.

Last year, free dining for the October - December period was announced on July 5.  We're two days past that date and so far, nothing.  I still believe it's going to come out, but I haven't heard a whisper as to when or even if.  I'll tell you that as travel agents, we're hearing a lot of rumors that free dining won't happen from Disney cast members, but I don't believe that. 

We're talking to Disney everyday and we get a lot of stories. Some of them are credible, some are not.  I think that while upper level management has an idea of when promotions are coming out, the actual details aren't released until very close to the announcement and even then, most front line cast members probably don't know until the morning discounts are released.  As an example, I called last week about annual pass discounts the day they came out and not one but two cast members that I spoke to had told that they were available. This isn't bad training or anything against Disney, it's just that information tends to travel slowly.

So what can you do? Well, keep your eyes open. If I hear any good rumors, I'll post them here.  I'm hoping for some news tomorrow, but I'm not betting on it.  You'll see it as soon as I hear it on the EverythingWDW Facebook page (you can like it up at the right hand corner).
